International Business Development Officer – USA/LATAM

Main duties & responsibilities:
Develop a local market approach  in term of available assets (inventory) and commercial priorities (e.g. local promotion, regional partnership, first screening of global prospect, tour and friendlies) according with International Business Development Manager;
Be the "owner" of the local presence of the Club in the assigned area in term of market intelligence, data, benchmarking;
Targeting, scouting and supporting negotiation (according with the Partnerships function) of Regional deals in assigned area;
Definition of opportunities and commercial organization of 1st team/youth teams/Legends team Tours and Friendlies, if held in the assigned area, together with Tour/Friendlies Operations and International Business Development Manager;
Coordination of local commercial agencies/agents and definition of plans/mandates according with International Business Development Manager;
Work with the Partnership team to support/develop partner relationships in foreign markets.

Professional Requirements:
3-5 years experience in International BD role within the Sports industry, preferably football (clubs, federations, agencies);
Knowledge of the key markets (USA, LATAM mainly); deep acquaintance with La Liga/Bundesliga main Clubs approach is preferred;
Good network of international contacts with companies, teams, agencies, promoters, agents;
Deep knowledge of English language and Spanish language;
Good knowledge of Italian language is preferred.

Be able to team work and have a natural disposition to share information accordingly, but also be capable of working independently when needed;
Have good communication, presentation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills to help effectively convey goals and strategies in English and Spanish;
Be able to create and interpret quantitative date and use metrics and analysis to construct business cases that support initiatives;
Understand business partners’ marketing objectives including their expected ROI;
Have a creative mind and ability to look out of the box to propose innovative ideas and find partners among new industries or in areas that are not obvious;
Have the capability to propose new promotion or other type of opportunities to our potential partners to provide them with more value;
Be Result-oriented, have a constant strive for outstanding results and not be scared of hard work.

Birmingham City Football Club is looking for an Academy Coach 

A number of coaches are required on a self-employed basis across the Foundation and Youth Development Phases in our elite Academy department. Some of the key tasks of these roles are as follows:

Implementation of the coaching syllabus for the designated group as per the APP.
Lead on coaching within training and games for the designated group.
Promote collaboration in the delivery of the programme.
To plan, create and evaluate coaching sessions as scheduled in the weekly plan.
Manage appropriate playing opportunities for all eligible players.
Ensure the review process is operated for each player every mesocycle as set out in the APP.
Monitor and record training/fixture content, objectives, evaluations, time and attendance on the PMA.
Monitor and evaluation of all players with the age group for succession planning process.
Oversee the trialist’s providing suitable evaluation and feedback during the signing / exit policy.
Ensure appropriate communication of future activities and/or changes (times/dates).
Liaison with all departments to enhance a multi-disciplinary process.
Undertake administrative tasks related to the role as and when required.
To take responsibility for all resources associated with training and fixtures ensuring the highest possible standards. (kit, bibs, balls, cones and all).
Communicate and promote the Academy culture creating an elite environment for the development of young players.
Actively engage in a fully functioning competency framework and integrated appraisal process.
Monitor the well-being of Academy players at all times liaising with the Safeguarding Services Manager.

Birmingham City FC seek to discover coaches able to deliver with enthusiasm and energy, whilst also meeting the following essential criteria:-

UEFA B Licence
FA Youth Module 3
FA Safeguarding Certificate
Basic First Aid in Sport Certificate
Knowledge of the Player Performance Pathway (EPPP)
Design and implementation of coaching curriculum
Computer literate
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of growth and maturity within young players
Able to demonstrate a desire to develop their coaching knowledge through course access and CPD

Desirable criteria

Experience working within an elite playing environment

Establish a sustainable system and approach to coach development within the Academy.
Develop coaches so that they improve and perform to the best of their potential and are consequently able to maximise the potential of the players that they work with.
Performance manage the day-to-day performance of Lead Phase Coaches.

Key responsibilities
Providing a clear, up-to-date Training needs analysis (TNA) of every individual coach’s current and required level of performance
Observing coach performance and provide feedback to aid development
Ensuring every coach has a personalized Development Action Plan (DAP) that is tailored to meet their needs and which they buy-in to as a ‘living’ document
Providing 1:1 coaching to coaches in order to develop the coach’s skill
Ensuring the qualification status of the Club’s coaching workforce is assessed and ensure all coaches hold required qualifications for their role and age group and have a CPD plan to ensure licencing is up-to-date
Ensuring coaches understand how to work effectively in a MDT and can identify and believe in the benefits of doing so
The alignment of Coaching Curriculum with Playing and Coaching Philosophy
Ensuring the Academy’s Coaching Curriculum is consistently delivered in line with the Academy’s Playing Philosophy and Coaching Philosophy
Designing and implementing a Club Specific Coach Competency Framework (CCF) to monitor and evaluate coaches in order to develop DAPs and group coach development opportunities

Skills required 
HOCD must have experience of working in at least 3 of the following roles (more than one area may be covered in a single role):
A football coaching role
A people development role
A role which involves a significant amount of mentoring/coaching
A role which involves working in an elite learning and/or performance environment
A role which involves a significant amount of sport coaching in an elite learning and/or performance environment
A role which requires coach development in a high-performance environment
An education/pedagogy role

HOCD must have knowledge and/or experience of at least 3 of the following: 
The process of learning in coaches (andragogy)
The process of learning in young people (pedagogy)
Running and designing development programmes
Football (not necessarily as a coach/high level player)
Leading a team

Partnership Development Executive required from Liverpool FC

This role will be to support the Partnership Development Team in driving the process of securing new commercial partners for Liverpool FC.

Key accountabilities

- Have an appetite for sales and a desire to work closely with those in sales positions to deliver new partnership deals
- Willingness to perform sales functions in order to generate leads for sales people i.e. coldcalling, writing emails
- Own and shape our strategic approach to the market - taking the lead on prospect/category/regional prioritisation to align with market trends.
- Collaborate with the Head of Global Partnership Sales/Commercial Director to develop new sponsorship property packages where appropriate.
- Ownership of producing specific sales propositions where an additional layer of strategy/complexity is needed to articulate the pitch.
-Accountable for reviewing and delivery of all relevant business and sponsorship media to ensure awareness of in-market activity and trends in order to identify new partnership opportunities.
- Coach and mentor Partnership Co-ordinators on the production of all sales collateral by to ensure that best-in-class propositions (outreach marketing/presentations/proposals) are being put out in market.
- Attend meetings to support sales pitches on an ad hoc basis, where deemed appropriate by the Head of Global Partnership Sales.
- Attend industry/networking events to gain insight in to in-territory commercial opportunities and build network.

Skills required 

The successful candidate will be well focused, able to manage a number of important tasks at one time, as well as having the ability to interpret data and information.
The person will be a problem solver, will be willing to push boundaries and will be desired to have good presentation skills. The person will also be creative,brand and research literate.
Adaptability,flexibility and ability to respond in a pressurised, high profile environment will be key, as will being able to work independently and collaboratively with the wider team and other key stakeholders.

The team

The Commercial Partnerships Department consists of 3 groups; Partnership Development, Partnership Management and Partners Experience.
The Partnerships Executive role sits within the Partnership Management group and supports and looks after the Club's key accounts particularly focussed on delivering launch events, player appearances,match-day activities and global marketing activations.
This person will beworking at our London office within the Partnerships department.
This is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week. This role will be based in London.
