For many years athletic training has evolved thinking that the player was a middle-distance runner or a marathon runner.
Football is a game of constant running called better "metabolic power constant".
In that idea, the accelerations and sprints have a crucial role.
The concept of power is rarely used,
introduced in football by prof. Di Prampero.
The power is the product of speed x acceleration (function),
in other words is the summary of both parameters.
If we evaluate the match analisys of Fc Barcelona,
considering the sprint race,
we will see a game focused on acceleration (calculated on 3-5 meters),
playing on short distances and rarely touch the 19.44 km / h on distances of 15-20 meters.
There are 5 areas of power Metabolic
MP1 = 0-10 W / kg
MP2 = 10-20 W / kg
MP3 = 20-35 W / kg
MP4 = 35-55 W / kg
MP5 => 55 Watt / kg
MPHI = MP3 + MP4 + MP5 is the work of High Intensity
MP2 is equivalent to 16 km / h and is considered the aerobic limit.
With the video analysis we built the model for each player.
A model based on their role and the tactical deployment.
